Inhibition of acetolactate synthase in susceptible
plants leads to a rapid cessation of cell division and growth.
Tolerant species rapidly convert to non-phytotoxic metabolites. |
| Application Methods |
Postemergence. |
| Residual Activity |
Rapid soil microbial degradation. |
| Unique Characteristics |
A non-ionic surfactant must be added. Typical symptoms
of plant death (leaf crinkling, curling, chlorosis) occur 5-10
days after application depending on growing conditions. Tank mixes
with MCPA and 2,4-D for control of ragweed and mustards. |
