*Low-Bush blueberries can be expected to have a
lower N requirement
per plant because plants are smaller.
Nursery stock
- no print out; to be recommended by specialist.
- in liner beds - 50 kg N/ha before planting for
coniferous and deciduous stock. No additional N in first year.
- established stock - in second and subsequent
years apply 100 - 150 kg N/ha in 2 to 4 applications for coniferous
and deciduous stock.
Tree fruits
- N to be recommended by Fruit and Vegetable Specialist
using plant analysis. Suggested maximum 35 kg N/ha applied not
later than July 1.
