September 17, 2008 saw Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs Leona Dombrowksy, Guelph MPP Liz Sandals and celebrity chef David Rocco at College Heights Secondary School, talking about the importance of eating nutritious, locally grown food. The school is taking part in the Ontario government's “Eating Healthy Looks Good on You" program, a pilot project to promote healthy eating in schools.
