Strawberry leaf with small purplish blotches and flecking

You notice that the leaves of the strawberry plants have purplish blotches and that their edges are curled upwards. Which disease is present, or are these symptoms caused by spray burn?

or or

That's right!

Sorry.

This is a picture of powdery mildew. Both leaf scorch and powdery mildew cause purple blotches on the upper leaf surface. Powdery mildew is accompanied by silvery or pink discolouration on the lower leaf surface, and leaf edges roll upwards. Spray burn is usually consistently present along the row. Plants continue to grow after the spray injury occurs, and newer leaves are not affected.
