Site of Action: Inhibitors of photosynthesis at photosystem II, Site A
Symptoms:
- Injury is confined to foliage that has come in contact with the herbicide
- Low doses of mimic classical photosynthesis inhibitors
- High doses mimic cell membrane disrupters
- Crop oil concentrates and other additives may intensify injury symptoms
Uptake and Translocation
- Contact herbicide causing immediate injury with little to no movement
Persistence:
Half-life in soil: 7 days
Mainly microbial degradation.
